Auntie Issues is a project born out of the need to tell different kinds of stories. As a community, we are shaped by prejudices against people who feel and think outside the norm — but there are a lot of us who are “weird”! This project seeks to contribute to the visibility of the bisexual community, which is often marginalized even within the LGBTQI+ collective, and to promote self-managed creation. It’s a very personal story, a kind of self-portrait in which, hopefully, many others will also see themselves reflected.
