He was ARIA nominated again for Best Video in 2021 for Amy Shark and Keith Urban's 'Love Songs Ain't For Us'.
Since then, he has directed 'The Voice' promos twice for Channel 7 which scored the biggest TV ratings of 2021 & 2022 with coaches Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy, Keith Urban and Guy Sebastian. He also directed the promo for 'Australia's Got Talent' in 2022 with judges David Walliams and Alesha Dixon.
He garnered three Vimeo Staff Picks, two for his short films 'The Keeper' and 'Proceeds of Crime' and one for his action-packed music video 'The Grid'. He has directed TV commercials for Westfield, The Voice, Australia's Got Talent, TK Maxx, NRL and Chubb.
James's short film FUSE will premiere on Sci-Fi channel DUST in May 2023. He is prepping his next short film Shelly with actor Gary Sweet and has written his first first feature film MOTHER'S DAY. He directed 2nd Unit on NEKTRONIC in 2017, an action packed horror sci-fi film.
