Guy Pearson

Originally a visual effects artist and director living in Greater Manchester. I started working on short (mostly horror) indie films that would usually do the festival circuit. My career began to take a step up in 2017, collaborating with the writing/directing duo Jed Shepherd & Rob Savage on the short Salt. We later teamed up again to work on the Blumhouse film Dashcam which then went on to win the BIFA for best visual effects. Jed would then go on to direct a segment for the Shudder-produced Scare Package 2 for which I was his sole visual effects artist. I've since continued working on short films including the award-winning Waving starring Ralph Ineson and the upcoming BFI film from Theresa Varga "I Know A Place" and "Your Move" from directors Ed Rigg and George Howson. I've also written and directed an experimental short film "Extension". https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2278918/ https://www.instagram.com/guy_pearson0/ https://twitter.com/GuyPearson0
