Edo Natasha

Edo Natasha is an Indonesian American director, writer, and editor whose life and storytelling span the globe—from the cornfields of Iowa to the volcanoes of Hawaii, the streets of Semarang to the soundstages of Los Angeles. A U.S. Army combat veteran turned filmmaker, Edo brings a rare "Third Culture" perspective to every frame he crafts. As a 2024 Academy Gold Rising alumnus, Edo’s directorial range includes short films, music videos, and TV pilots produced across Hawaii and Los Angeles. He’s also worked on global productions, including coaching Colin Farrell in Bahasa Indonesia for Apple TV+'s Sugar. His work has graced screens on Amazon Prime (Popolo), Kold Open (The Shore Break Show), RokuTV, and Hawaiian Airlines (Melting Pot Hawai’i: A Guided Tour). Festival circuits have taken notice as well. His short Boy screened at the Los Angeles Indonesian Film Festival, and The Last Fifteen Minutes was chosen as the official 2025 Student Academy Awards submission by the Los Angeles Film School, starring Runny Rudiyanti, a rising star featured by Netflix Indonesia and JAFF 2025 Reel Camp. The Last Fifteen Minutes was selected to be officially screened at the Playhouse West Los Angeles Film Festival in August 2025, followed by the Soo Film Festival in Michigan in September.
